MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY
2025 RECAP
Because of your compassion and commitment, Make a Difference Day was a true success for Plymouth Community United Way. Together, volunteers and sponsors stepped up in a powerful way to support seniors, disabled residents, and neighbors who needed a helping hand.
This year (2025), we:
- Cleaned up 27 homes across the community
- Engaged 230 volunteers who spent the day raking leaves, clearing yards, and offering support
- Strengthened connections between neighbors and brought joy to dozens of households

WHY VOLUNTEER AT THE PLYMOUTH COMMUNITY UNITED WAY
Our mission to reach out and serve human needs is fueled by members of our community like you. When we unite together, we can use our time, expertise, and resources to positively impact our community. When you, your family, team, or organization donate your time to us, you directly help those in need in our community.
We have volunteer opportunities for individuals, families, teams, and small or large organizations/companies. Whether it’s helping out at a small event or hosting a volunteer day for your company, there is always a need you can help fill at the Plymouth Community United Way.

EVENT SUPPORT
PCUW hosts multiple events each year that rely on our community volunteers. Whether it be registration, day of help, or clean up, we always welcome your support. Consider signing up to volunteer at one of our upcoming events!

HOST A FOOD OR SUPPLY DRIVE
If you, your business, or group are looking to support the community; why not partner with Plymouth Community United Way? You, or your organization, can hold a food drive in support of our local food pantries. Many children, families, and individuals could benefit from your support. This is a great way to get your organization or company to come together for the greater good!
MONTHLY TEFAP FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Each month, PCUW hosts a site for The Emergency Food Assistance Program. This requires volunteers to help unbox and bag food for our recipients.
