Our Impact

Creating Opportunities for a Better Life for All

Plymouth Community United Way works to address the basic human needs of the residents of Plymouth, Canton, and Western Wayne County. We advance the common good by not only helping individuals but changing entire systems to serve many.

Partnerships Matter. We are all interdependent and connected. We all win when a child succeeds in school, when families are financially stable, and when people are healthy. By working together, we can do what no single organization or individual can do.

That’s why Plymouth Community United Way’s work is focused on the building blocks for a good life:

  • Basic Needs – Supporting food pantries, providing emergency assistance, and organizing drives
  • Health & Stability – Connecting families to resources to enable greater independence
  • Education – Helping children and youth achieve their full potential

PCUW’s goal is to create long-lasting changes by addressing the underlying causes of these problems. Living United means being a part of the change. It takes everyone in the community working together to create a brighter future.

Statement on Diversity

The Plymouth Community United Way values the diversity of the people, organizations, and communities that we serve.

It shall be the policy of the Plymouth Community United Way to provide equal membership/employment/service opportunities to all eligible persons without regard to race, gender, ethnicity, financial ability, sexual orientation, religion, disability or age.
